| Well o.o;~ I think a way the United States has demonstrated its involvement when it comes to Nuclear Proliferation is through Political Ad's. During the Cold War when Johnson was campaigning to win the election, he had a campaign ad called "Daisy Girl" which basically depicts the threat of Nuclear Proliferation. I found this copy of Youtube: {EDIT: because I cannot embed the actual video into the forum -.- I will just link you}: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYk5MNjYhmk&mode=related&search=You can probably find a much better and high quality one in the Museum of Moving Images' Living Room Candidate ( http://livingroomcandidate.movingimage.us/index.php). Just look under Johnson and 1964 (so if your too lazy to look just use the youtube link)! Plus, it's a great place to watch other Presidential Campaign Ads! | |

| another involvement the us demestrated is creating MORE nuclear explosives. =00
and more weapons.. and etc.
there was an ad about radioactive blankets during wwII or something. anyways, it was about a blanket that "supposedky" protected the wearer from radioactivity. of course it was just a gimmick, but still.

| and did you know the us accidently dropped two nuclear explosives in North carolina? it was 10x stronger than the ones they dropped in hiroshima. luckily, it fell into a swamp, and all but one of the triggers used to denote the bomb was completed. if the last one was triggered, the south wuold had went kaboom and i'd been dead.. i forgot the date. oh well. the us bought the land from the farmer who owned it. they could only find parts of the two explosives, but they had to comclude that most of it was lost in the quagmire. which i dunno is a good or a bad thing. o.0''
intersting, isnt it? | |

And I also want to add~ for the propaganda thing you wrote about Ohn~ people are encouraged to look at some propaganda from the Cold War from the US and Cuba! Here: http://shs.westport.k12.ct.us/jwb/collab/ColdWar/Propaganda/Propaganda.htm ~ I found it interesting =]!

Oh and another fun fact you may like is~ "Albuquerque is the hot air balloon capitol of the world and site of annual international competitors"~! ^^

| I just thought it was funny~ because first I saw the quote on how hot it was~ and then there was the quote on the hot air balloons~ o.o; lol~ but when I went there it was cold >> thats all I have to say. Lol. But I did get a great postcard of the hot air balloons o.o~ so pweetty~!
Uhhhmm... back to all the seriousness though... o.o mmm... well I think it makes some sense that they do all the testing/research in places like New Mexico. The population density there is not very high and it's almost....deserted like. But this brings up another notion, if most of this is being done in the west, are the people over there more aware of what's going on?
